Daily hours are not set yet. The county election commission votes on early voting hours at an upcoming meeting. We will post them here as soon as they are official — or call the commission at (423) 753-1688. Early voting sites are closed on Sundays.
Vote on Election Day: November 3
Polls are open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern. On Election Day you must vote at your own assigned precinct — not just anywhere in the county. Look it up before you go, because precincts do change.

Tennessee requires a reason to vote absentee — being 60 or older, hospitalized, out of the county during the whole early voting period, a student away at school, or a caregiver all qualify. Your written request must reach the election commission by Saturday, October 24 — ten days out. Do not wait for the last mail day.

A federal or Tennessee photo ID. A TN driver's license, a US passport, a TN handgun carry permit, or a federal or state employee ID all work — even if expired. A college student ID does not count. If you do not have one, the state will give you a photo ID card for free.
